Douglas Brooks is a boatbuilder, writer and researcher, specializing in wooden boats built to traditional Western and Japanese designs. Trapping Boats of Lake Champlain
Come see two upcoming exhibits based on research I have done with students on trapping boats of the lake. In Burlington Frog Hollow will showcase the work I did in 2010 with Middlebury College students and the Henry Sheldon Museum in Middlebury will display one of the replica trapping boats my students at Hannaford Career center built last fall. I will be giving talks at both exhibits.
